ABOUT LOIS SHUART
Lois Shuart Lois holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. She spent many years as dedicated school teacher, nurturing curiosity and learning in children of all ages. Following almost a decade of teaching in elementary school and English as a Second Language in colleges, she served as a Solo/Senior Pastor for more than two decades, guiding her community with compassion and wisdom.

The 7th Duckling
The 7th Duckling is a sweet and gentle story about a little duckling learning how to become a real duck. This book is perfect for children and families who enjoy warm and heart-touching animal stories.
The story follows a young duckling who grows bigger each day but still doesn’t know how to fly. She lives on a quiet farm with an old man and an old lady who care for her very much. The duckling loves to splash, waddle, and eat her food, but she keeps jumping into the pond with a big belly flop instead of flying. And the old lady decides to help her. Each day, she moves the duckling’s food pan a little higher up the hill so the duckling has to walk farther.
